GISPRI and IGES (The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies) co-hosted a seminar on January 11, 2008 at the Nadao Hall, Tokyo, to report the result of COP13 and COP/MOP3. Over two hundred participants heard presentations about major topics from the government delegation at the seminar. A representative from METI talked about issues surrounding CDM; a delegate from Ministry of the Environment introduced discussion over technology transfer to developing countries; and the person from Forestry Agency presented issues of deforestation and degradation.
